The Positive Prevention PLUS High School Comprehensive Sexual Health Education curriculum—developed by teachers, for teachers—is fully aligned with the California Healthy Youth Act (CHYA) and the California Health Education Framework. The 2025 edition features 14 age-appropriate lessons designed to help students build healthy relationships and make informed decisions about their sexual health—while also respecting and protecting the well-being of others.

In compliance with new CHYA mandates under Assembly Bill 2053, the 2025 edition now includes essential information and resources on adolescent relationship abuse and intimate partner violence. Students are provided with access to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, as well as local support hotlines, ensuring they know where to turn for help.
The curriculum also meets the requirements of Assembly Bill 2229 by incorporating menstrual health education, providing inclusive, comprehensive instruction for all students.
