The Positive Prevention PLUS Middle School Curriculum offers 14 comprehensive lessons designed to support early adolescents in developing healthy attitudes and behaviors related to relationships, personal health, and decision-making. Updated from the 2021 edition, the new curriculum includes expanded content on social-emotional learning (SEL), gender and sexual diversity, digital influences, and menstrual health—making it more relevant and inclusive for today's students. Lessons are trauma-informed, age-appropriate, and highly interactive, encouraging students to build skills in communication, goal setting, and boundary-setting. The curriculum is aligned with state standards and includes access to classroom-ready digital slide decks and resources.

In compliance with new CHYA mandates under Assembly Bill 2053, the 2025 edition now includes essential information and resources on adolescent relationship abuse and intimate partner violence. Students are provided with access to the National Domestic Violence Hotline, as well as local support hotlines, ensuring they know where to turn for help.
The curriculum also meets the requirements of Assembly Bill 2229 by incorporating menstrual health education, providing inclusive, comprehensive instruction for all students.
