The Positive Prevention PLUS Independent Study Comprehensive Sexual Health Education (online) curriculum is written by teachers, for teachers in compliance with up-dated “California Healthy Youth Act” (CHYA). The curriculum is also aligned with the National Health Education Standards and the new California Health Education Framework. Fourteen self-guided and narrated lessons provide adolescents and young adults with the age-appropriate vital information and support they need to form healthy relationships and to choose behaviors that will maintain and protect their own sexual health and the health of others. Each edition features animated student slides plus worksheets which can either be printed or completed and submitted online. Additional online support materials for administrators, parents, and teachers which include LGBTQ-related information, a parent-facilitator guide, and suggested "hybrid" classroom activities are also provided.
